Caitlin Alyssa Roper is a dynamic and dedicated dance teacher with more than 16 years of teaching, choreographing, and studio management experience in South Africa and abroad. Having trained in a wide range of dance styles, Caitlin brings versatility to her teaching, offering classes in modern, contemporary, hip hop, ballet foundations, and fitness-based dance.
Her journey began at a young age, where dance quickly became more than a hobby, it became a lifelong passion. Over the years, she has worked with dancers of all ages, from beginners taking their very first class to advanced performers competing and showcasing on stage. She also spent time teaching in the United States, broadening her approach and incorporating international techniques and influences.
As the founder of CDF Worx, Caitlin’s mission is to provide more than just technical training. Her classes are known for their supportive, uplifting atmosphere where students feel safe to explore, grow, and express themselves. She believes in nurturing the whole dancer, building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and joy through movement.
Caitlin is especially passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers, encouraging creativity and individuality while instilling strong technique. Whether training young children, teens, or adults, her focus is always on creating an environment where students leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and more connected to themselves.
